Dear stuck-in-fayz,

This will not be a very satisfying answer as you do not have the final book yet, but I reckon Adam’s very last scene in the series was the most emotional for me, insofar as I as a species have emotions. It was a place the story needed him to go but it was not an easy journey for either of us to get him there.
