a list of things you can talk about when it comes to Isabelle that doesn’t include her looks (which i’m not disputing, because she is gorgeous, but she is more than that)

• her warrior skills  - her skill with whip and with blades is amazing and it’s clear that she is very good at close-ranged combat
• she is the best forensic pathologist in New York and both Alec and Jace make sure to stress that, it’s clear that she is brilliant at it
• she is bilingual - bilingual people are a+ and need to be appreciated more
• her relationship with Alec, Jace and Max, their childhood + the time before Clary especially
• her connections to Downworld - how did she meet Meliorn? does she have any Downworlder friends? 
• her hobbies - what does she do in her free time, it’s clear that she has a passion for fashion for example and she was so good at the wedding planning and coordination? shout out to izzy for planning out that beautiful wedding honestly (that fortunately didn’t happen…)
• her training routine, she is so skilled and in such a shape, i wanna know all about how she practises
• her relationship with her parents -it’s clear that she is estranged from Maryse, but gets on well with Robert. the dynamic here is so worth discussing and exploring 
• her moral compass and how she doesn’t see things in white and black 
• her caring nature
• the fact that her older brother is the person that she loves the most? it’s so pure oh my goodness, we need to talk about this more
• her inherent prejudice as a Shadowhunter towards Downworlders which isn’t really as visible as with Jace, Alec or Lydia, but given her position, it’s still an important matter 
• the fact that she is a skilled manipulator (and i don’t mean this in a derogatory sense) and that she can coerce information when it’s needed
• how she stands up for herself to people of higher ranks
• how she balances Jace and Alec, she is the glue that held their little team together pre-Clary

i can go on, the point is Isabelle is often either reduced to a pretty/sexy girl or the Lightwood sister and daughter and she is so much more than that. Appreciate her.
